Where It Really Started
Ambleside Property Maintenance didn’t begin as a “big idea” on paper, it grew out of real, on-site experience.
At the centre of that is Basel Makansi.
Basel’s background is grounded in hands-on property work. Day in, day out, being inside homes, working alongside other trades, homeowners, and landlords, seeing how projects actually unfold, not how they’re supposed to unfold.
Over time, a pattern became pretty clear:
It wasn’t usually the workmanship that caused problems. It was everything around it.

And often, the homeowner ends up trying to manage it all themselves, without the time or experience to do it comfortably.
